Ava Stearns is admitted to practice law in Connecticut. She joined Blair & Potts as an associate attorney in 2026.

Ava's practice focuses on estate planning and estate and trust administration. Ava advises individuals and families on crafting sophisticated estate plans to meet their personal goals, with particular emphasis on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, and assists clients and their financial advisors with the administration of estates.

Ava received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from St. John's University in 2022. She earned her J.D. from the St. John's University School of Law in 2025. In law school, she served as the Articles & Notes Editor for the New York Internal Law Review. She was also a member of the Dispute Resolution Society and a staff member of the Commercial Division Online Law Report. Prior to joining Blair & Potts, Ava worked for a global tax services firm in their corporate state and local tax department.
